King Mountain 
2005 Hang Gliding Championships 

  • King Mountain is located in Moore, Idaho.
  • Dates for the 2005 meet will be June 22 - 26, (Wed. - Sun.)
  • This year we will be scoring the best 3 out of 5 days. That way if you can't come until the weekend you can still get your 3 days in.

  • Classes include 
    • Open
    • Recreation - open to pilots who have never flown over 75 miles
    • Team Class
  • We will also be giving away a driver award and a staff choice award.
  • Current USHGA membership required for insurance purposes.
  • General entry fee is $50 (includes beautiful color shirt designed by Dan Gravage and IHGA Membership).
  • There is an additional charge of $10 for a Saturday night BBQ and $5 extra for each member in the team class.

  • Camping is available at the Moore Park, however electricity at the park is reserved for Meet Staff / Office. 

  • There are hotels and RV parks in Arco (8 miles from Moore).
